Today, we are celebrating, Max Vitko a young developer from Europe who recently completed his 3-months internship with our engineering team and graduated from the Bukable 2022 virtual cohort.
During his internship, he received mentorship from his manager and collaborated actively on backend development projects with his fellow internship colleagues.
At Bukable, we believe businesses can create meaningful internships by providing interns with a positive and supportive work environment. This means treating interns with the same respect and professionalism as any other employee, and providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed. By fostering a positive and supportive work environment, businesses can help ensure that their internships are not only meaningful, but also enjoyable and rewarding for students.
Creating a positive and supportive work environment for interns is important for several reasons:
First, it helps to ensure that interns have a positive experience during their internship. This can be especially important for students who are considering pursuing a career in the field in which they are interning. If they have a positive experience, they may be more likely to consider working for the company after they graduate.
Additionally, treating interns with the same respect and professionalism as other employees helps to foster a culture of inclusivity and fairness within the company. This can be especially important for businesses that value diversity and inclusion.
Finally, providing interns with the support and resources they need to succeed can help to ensure that they are able to make the most of their internship experience. This can include providing them with training and development opportunities, assigning them meaningful tasks and projects, and giving them the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced professionals in the field.
Overall, by creating a positive and supportive work environment for interns, businesses can not only provide valuable learning and development opportunities for students, but also help to build a strong talent pipeline for the future.
We asked Max about his experience at Bukable and here is what he had to say about the internship at Bukable and to future interns:
Hello, My name is Max,
I was an intern at Bukable and worked as a backend developer, Java.
During the internship training program, I worked with a lot of new technologies that are included in the standard Junior Java developer stack, got useful experience in code reviews, frequent meetings with discussions of tasks, issues and deadlines.
I really liked the fact that the internship was as close as possible to real work experience. It was a very useful experience for me that I am glad I had.
Special thanks to my manager, Anna and the COO of Bukable, Andrey for always taking the time to answer my questions or help solve problems. And also thanks to the CEO of Bukable Enyo for the English lessons, because I come for a non-english speaking country and the lessons helped me to stop being afraid to speak in English in the public.
For the future interns or anyone considering taking up an internship, I will say, do not be afraid to try something new, try and learn, because any experience is a useful experience that will help your future career.
Thank you Bukable!
We wish Max all the best in his future endeavors, and we look forward to seeing all that he will achieve in his professional career as a developer.
